Mornington Peninsula Flat Pack Kitchen Transformation

These semi-retirees in Rosebud had an older property that had a tired old kitchen. Wanting to have a comfortable lifestyle, save some $$, as well as increase the value of their home, then decided to try a flatpack kitchen.

We can’t think of a better way to achieve that objective and save some $s in your retirement years!

With budgetary considerations, they decided a Flat Pack Kitchen way was the perfect alternative. This added considerable savings for these semi-retirees meant that the Designer could design a kitchen adding some added extras to stay within their budget.

To commence their journey, they booked a kitchen design appointment at Kitchen Shack Preston which was an easy drive along the Eastlink Freeway.

As can be seen in the phone above, the space was tired and cramped.

They wanted a bright, modern open Hamptons Style kitchen that flowed to the remaining rooms of this home.

Key to the brief was a more functional workflow and increased storage in a kitchen that flowed from indoors to outdoors.

After discussing their needs, the Designer created a galley shaped kitchen. This immediately opened the space to an adjoining dining table.

The 3D Kitchen Design helped the customers visualise their new kitchen – perfectly showcasing the design to ensure they would be happy with the final result. They were excited about the open space which was a clear advantage in changing the layout from the old to the new.

One of our favourite parts of this kitchen is the clever design of the slide-out shelves. This enables our customers to easily reach all the items stored in the pantry.

The wide drawers are another favourite where pots, pans and cooking utensils are easily found for cooking up that perfect feast with family.

As seen this Rosebud Kitchen is now a bright space with increased open space creating a unique look at a lower price than many other kitchens of this style. This kitchen style and design is becoming increasingly popular and will stand the test of time looking amazing for many years ahead.
