Flatpack Kitchen Reno in Phillip Island
This beach house in Phillip Island was transformed using Kitchen Shack cabinetry. This family’s existing kitchen was dated, lacked benchtop space and felt closed off from the adjoining living and dining space.
Despite having a strict budget, the customers wanted a more comfortable lifestyle and wanted to ensure that their renovation increased the value of their home. With costs in mind, a Flat Pack Kitchen was the perfect alternative. Kitchen Shack was chosen because the cabinets arrive fully assembled. This made it quicker and easier to install.
Measuring up their space and then attending a free kitchen design appointment at Kitchen Shack Preston was well worth the travel to Melbourne.
As can be seen in the “before” photos the space was cramped.
With a budget in mind, the Kitchen Designer designed a kitchen that had a better flow and added in some extras such as the free-standing kitchen island bench, wine rack and open shelf for cookbooks all within their budget.
The end result is a modern open style kitchen that flows to the adjoining dining and nearby lounge area. A further enhancement was the more functional workflow and increased benchtop space to prepare meals. Two or more chefs can now flow easily in and out of this kitchen space to prepare the perfect meal.
The Designer has created a u-shaped kitchen that makes it easy to carry plates and serve meals to the adjoining dining table. The 3D Kitchen Design helped the customers visualise their new kitchen knowing that the design would be perfect for their needs. They were so excited about their new open spaces they sent us these photos!
Modern, open Flat Pack Kitchen Renovation with Inspire Style cabinetry
A few of our favourite parts of this kitchen is the standalone kitchen island bench, the open shelf and the large pot drawers. Our customers can now have all their favourite recipes within their fingertips and can now easily prep food on the island bench.
Kitchen Shack’s wide pot drawers were perfect for storing pots, pans and even Tupperware. Pot drawers make finding items easier when cooking for the family.
As seen this Phillip Island Kitchen is now an open space with more benchtop prep area. This creates a unique look at a lower price point than many other kitchens in the market. White matte kitchen styles are becoming increasingly popular due to their durability and will look amazing for many years ahead.
