Fresh ways to use flatpack!
Did you know you can use flatpack cabinets in many areas of your home?
This transformation in Wonga Park displays exactly that for this gorgeous family kitchen, laundry and dining room using flatpack cabinetry.
Starting with the before kitchen it’s clear the older style above just doesn’t cut it. Looking drab and dull has now transformed to open and warm.
When our client first visited Kitchen Shack Kilsyth she spent time with Michael our Designer, to get a design she would love. Knowing exactly the look she wanted made it easy to choose the cabinetry and benchtops colours.
For every client there is a problem with their existing space and this one was definitely flow. One entry and exit is not ideal. By designing a u-shape kitchen with a stand-alone island bench the flow is now perfect and makes all the difference for entertaining.
During the design process, the client was super excited about the 3D Kitchen visuals displaying the flow of the future space. It was at this point it was clear the huge space adjacent was ripe for more storage! Using the Duropal Lancelot Oak benchtops in the space adjacent to the kitchen creates a seriously sophisticated space.
The Milano white gloss cabinetry, Excel Chalet Oak overheads and YDL Winter White benchtops makes this kitchen feel open and bright.
Next onto the nearby laundry. Being a wet area Inspire White matt cabinetry and Duropal Lancelot Oak benchtops are used keeping consistent with the kitchen space to ensure the style flows throughout the home. Having a front loader washing machine utilises this space to provide more benchtop for washing and folding.
Flatpack Kitchen Renos like this one where three areas were completed at the same time, saves money with trades and completes your renovations quicker. This was an area that our client even commented on “I had a very specific timeline and I am pleased to say my kitchen and laundry were delivered and installed on time”.
This Wonga Park home now has a unified style at a fraction of the price you would expect to pay, without compromising on quality.
Wonga Park is 28km north-east of Melbourne CBD. It has a population of 3,833 (2016 Census) and has older style homes ripe for renovations!
