From ugly duckling kitchen to inviting freshness
Have you been dreaming of replacing your ugly duckling kitchen but you are on a budget?
One of our latest Kitchen Shack projects in Brighton, Melbourne has done just that.
Although this kitchen was still functioning as you can see it was dated not only by the old-fashioned timber that was once the rage, but also the appliances, rangehood and tiles.
The brief from the customer was to “update the old style into the modern world but keep in with the character of the older style of the unit”. Mary from our kitchen showroom in Preston has designed just that.
It was important to analyse the space first to see what would work best in the redesign for this budget kitchen renovation. Creating more space in the design and modernising the kitchen with the Kitchen Shack Shaker style to create a more open space added that crisp finish to the kitchen.
We all know that a white kitchen doesn’t date and with the shaker style of the recessed panel the style of the home has been maintained. The kitchen now looks bigger and the customer can be ensured the kitchen will stand the test of time.
Installing new benchtops to enhance the Shaker style is one of the biggest decisions when it comes to a new kitchen. Changes to the benchtop to enhance the cabinetry can create the perfect addition. Here Duropal Natural Messina gloss benchtops have been added for that perfect touch to top off the natural finish of the door. Finally, the slimline handles provide the perfect match for this kitchen.
With Kitchen Shack’s lowest prices guaranteed there was value in spending some extra for the Kitchen Shack recommended installer, who not only professionally installed the kitchen, but in a quicker timeframe so the customer could enjoy their kitchen space sooner.
We love the subway tiles that truly top off this shaker style so well.
