Another Happy Customer in Fairfield, Melbourne

Wow, the Kitchen Shack team created this transformation and we love the bright, fresh look in this renovated home in Fairfield, north-east of Melbourne.  Here is a kitchen review of the project.

It was important to get the brief right with the customer about to put the home on the market for sale.  The customer was clear wanting a bright, open plan kitchen space leading onto the adjoining dining and living area.  This would then appeal to a wider range of potential buyers.

The design here using white gloss cabinets along with white subway tiles and stainless steel appliances immediately creates the bright feel.  This type of kitchen is then ideal to add splashes of colour as seen here with herbs and wooden chopping boards.  The natural light from the windows and attached living/dining space makes this kitchen glow like it should.

Creating a breakfast bar has also allowed additional seating for the family, maybe the young ones colouring in while Mum cooks dinner or a partner enjoying a nice glass of wine at the end of a hard day’s work.  What an outlook to come home to.

The timber flooring creates the rustic feel along with the timber dining table and chairs set against the white kitchen looks superb.  The kitchen working triangle offers easy reach from sink to cooktop to fridge and an easy reach to the dining table for the whole family to share those precious mealtimes.  There is no doubt this has added enormous value to this property.  At Kitchen Shack we have many customers doing up their investment or rental properties for sale and we are glad we can be part of this process.

The Kitchen Shack Preston Team were able to transform an old tired space into this wonderful transformation for this period home in Fairfield, Melbourne and another happy customer goal achieved. Especially on the day of auction fetching a massive $2,035,000.

There is no doubt, no one needs to spend a fortune to renovate their kitchen or laundry, but it can add enormous value to any home in Melbourne.
