It was a wonderful turnout on a cold winters night to celebrate the official opening of Kitchen Shack Forest Hill Showroom.
As you may be aware, earlier this year on 5 January, 2025, our long-standing Nunawading showroom was sadly destroyed in a fire that began in a neighbouring store. We’d proudly operated there for nearly 30 years, so losing everything – except our safely backed-up data – was heartbreaking. But out of adversity shines the spirit of our company and team.
Thanks to the resilience, commitment, and teamwork of our incredible staff and suppliers we were able to fit out the new location at 65 Mahoneys Road, Forest Hill in record time. This allowed us to keep transforming kitchens and laundries for Eastern Melbourne and only moving 2km away.
Everyone who attended enjoyed the new space which has been designed with a quick turnaround – a huge achievement. Comments like “it feels so open and inviting”, “wonderful display of kitchens”, “love the new look” made us feel very proud.
This evening was a huge thank you to our Kitchen Shack Team, suppliers, trades, and partners who supported us to make this transformation happen. Their support, speed, and attention to detail played a massive role in bringing this vision to life.
